Summary:
This individual will act as a BCS Complaint Team Advisor (Complaint Investigation Unit) in the Department of Health’s Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP)/Division of Health Plan Contracting and Oversight (DHPCO) /Bureau of Consumer Services (BCS) and will have oversight of all Medicaid managed care complaint investigation activities including:
Coordinating investigations between the various partners, managed care plans and associated state agencies to appropriately resolve enrollee or provider managed care complaints in a timely manner and/or respond to inquiries and requests for information.
Corresponding in writing, telephone, and/or email with complainants including providers, plans and consumer regarding the status and outcome of their complaint investigation.
Reviewing management reports on complaint investigation statistics including volume, case load per investigator, plan allegations, etc.
Identifying and appropriately referring issues of concern for MCO compliance review, and coordinating/overseeing MCO implementation of corrective actions related to complaint resolution.
Recommending policy, procedures, review tools, and other training materials to improve effectiveness of the unit.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
8 years health care experience
Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
