Minimum Qualifications Nine years of application development experience in quality assurance testing. At least three years of this must have been utilizing testing automation. Three years of the experience must have been at a supervisory level. ORAn associate's degree and seven years of the required experience as described above.ORA bachelor’s degree and five years of the required experience as described above.ORA master’s degree and four years of the required experience as described above.

Duties Description Under the general direction of the Motor Vehicle Program Manager 2, M2, the Test Manager, G-27, will be responsible for overseeing and managing all system testing activities. The incumbent will coordinate a team of System Testers and the activities of the Testing Center of Excellence under the Technology, Strategy, and Innovation Office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Establishes, maintains, and enforces best practices, standards, and processes as related to system testing.• Develops a test strategy and plan based on project requirements, testing objectives, and available resources. • Allocates and manages testing resources and ensures the team has necessary skills and training required for these specialized testing activities.• Develops standardized Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for testing.• Oversees the creation of detailed test designs, test cases, test scripts and test data, ensuring they align with the requirements and testing objectives. • Develops risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to identify and address risks and potential challenges.• Collaborates with development teams to set up and configure test environments.• Monitors the progress of the execution of test cases and automated testing.• Develops practices and procedures for the defect lifecycle, including defect logging, tracking, prioritization, and resolution. • Maintains effective communication with all stakeholders and reports out to the project manager and/or executive management as needed. • Develops a test automation strategy, such as identifying areas for automation and selecting appropriate tools. • Performs the full range of supervisory activities.• Performs other duties as assigned.
