RN (Nurse) Manager - Endoscopy- St. Peter's Hospital- Fulltime Days

Full time days – 40 hours a week

What you will do:

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily operations and throughput of patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership accountabilities of interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations and performance management.

  • Managing staffing schedules to ensure adequate staffing level.

  • Ensuring staff compliance with hospital policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.

  • Monitoring and nursing accountability of outcomes.

  • Work collaboratively with physicians on resolving issues and participate in committee meetings.

  • Policy review and revisions.

  • Adherence to budget guidelines and compliance

Requirements:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Endoscopy required

  • Endoscopy/Surgical Services experience preferred

  • Previous Leadership or Supervisory experience preferred

Pay Range: $48.50 - $64.70

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
