UNIVERSAL Technologies, LLC Senior Solutions Architect Lead in Albany, New York

UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a PeopleSoft Senior Solutions Architect Lead with PeopleSoft HR Implementation experience for a role based in Albany, NY with a receptive remote arrangement. The candidate must be willing to come into the office at the client’s request for onboarding, offboarding, executive meetings, and other essential in-person sessions. Candidates in EST are preferred. Must have a LinkedIn account. Position: The Senior Solutions Architect Lead will work closely with stakeholders to enhance the interoperability and functionality of PeopleSoft systems. This role will develop strategies to improve data reliability, streamline workflows, and minimize customizations. The Architect will collaborate on business requirements, develop technical solutions, participate in prototyping, and ensure adherence to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards.     Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Sciences, Engineering, or a technical background preferred but not required.

  • 8+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HR modules.

  • Proven PeopleSoft implementation experience.

  • Ability to identify technical options and implementation strategies for complex requirements that are not efficiently handled by standard PeopleSoft configurations.

    Job Duties: As a Senior Solutions Architect Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in finalizing business and technical requirements to ensure a solid understanding of project needs.

  • Documenting legacy system architecture and developing solutions to enhance PeopleSoft interoperability, increase data reliability, streamline workflows, and eliminate duplicate data entry.

  • Designing technical solutions to meet business needs while reducing the complexity and number of PeopleSoft customizations.

  • Developing solutions to meet requirements that are not effectively delivered by PeopleSoft out-of-the-box configurations.

  • Engaging in prototype and proof of concept exercises.

  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and simplify interfaces between PeopleSoft and other applications.

  • Documenting the target architecture with considerations for state shared services, enterprise standards, and security requirements.

  • Contributing to project planning, workstream sequencing, and sprint management to ensure timely delivery of system enhancements.

  • Developing artifacts to support SDLC standards.

  • Creating reports and presentations on technical analyses, prototype exercises, and SDLC artifacts in compliance with industry and State standards.
