Key Job Elements:
• Provides application support including debugging application issues, answering questions about application and business functions;
• Gathers requirements for modifications to existing applications/new products;
• Designs solutions and outlines projects for implementation;
• Prioritizes tasks/projects, schedules and tracks tasks and releases in a constantly changing business environment;
• Supervises developers, delegates tasks, tracks progress, and reviews code changes;
• Reviews employees’ performance, tracks SMART goals, and oversees progress of the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
• 5-7+ years of experience in IT covering all areas of the software development life cycle with position-relevant skills; thorough understanding of PHP, HTML, SQL and Javascript is absolutely needed;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Understanding of not only how to develop applications in a certain code language/environment, but also the under workings of the servers and databases being used;
• Development skills for LN; good understanding of accounting; knowledge of the manufacturing process;
• Technical writing skills; communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with people with varying levels of IT knowledge;
• Analytical skills – ability to quickly evaluate an issue, resolve it or implement a workaround with consistent accuracy and success.
