Robert Half Retail Sales Manager in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Description We are in search of a Retail Sales Manager to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will be leading a team of professional sales consultants in the retail industry, focusing on enhancing our brand with residential customers and expanding market share. This contract to hire employment opportunity involves coaching team members in relational selling techniques and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of professional sales consultants to achieve group sales goals.

• Developing team commitment to strive for 100% customer satisfaction.

• Building effective team member skills in relational selling techniques across all product offerings.

• Growing market share by proactively developing new customer relationships.

• Ensuring profitability by developing value selling and accuracy skills to deliver contribution margin goals and error control.

• Modeling market expertise and building business partner relationships with customers.

• Utilizing various skills such as 'ADP - Financial Services', 'Avaya CMS', 'CRM', 'ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning', 'Retail Sales', etc. to enhance team performance and customer experience.

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records and monitoring customer accounts. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail sales management role

• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and Avaya CMS

• Demonstrable experience with CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions and About Time software

• Proven skills in Auditing and Billing Functions

• Experience in Cash Activity and Cash Handling in a retail environment

• Knowledge of Retail, Retail branding, and Retail Buying

• Expertise in Retail Marketing and Retail Merchandising

• Understanding of Retail Pricing and Retail Properties

• Experience in executing Retail Promotions and managing Retail Sales

• Ability to maintain and manage Retail Stores and Retailers

• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
