Carrington Quality Control, Servicing Analyst in Aliso Viejo, California

The Quality Control Servicing Analyst will be responsible for conducting scheduled monthly/quarterly audits to ensure CMS Servicing business unit is in compliance with all internal policy & procedures; adherence to federal, state, local and governmental regulatory requirements; and investor/product specific guidelines adherence. Audits conducted may encompass various aspects of loan servicing processes from new loans to REO. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay for this role is $25.00-$32.50 an hour.
What you'll do:
Utilizing QC software and a multitude of business unit specific systems of record, conduct monthly/quarterly audits for various aspects of loan servicing, including but not limited to loan level detail review, documentation retrieval, back-up audit file creation and audit exception documentation.
Validate exception issue testing.
Maintain exception issue log tracking.
Conduct audits accurately and in accordance with established audit timelines and standards.
Participate in monthly compliance meetings, as deemed necessary by management.
Identify exception/performance trends.
Maintain accuracy ratio of 98%.
Assist in the exception/dispute review process.
Assist in special audits as necessary.
Special projects as assigned by management.
What you'll need:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Three (3) years of auditing Loan Servicing experience
An advanced working knowledge of Loan Servicing
Need to be live near, Anaheim, CA, Westfield, IN or Plano, TX to be considered.
