We are looking to bring on a self-motivated Analytics Software Engineer who will work on an end-to-end product delivery engagement/support model working with data scientists, data engineers, and report developers. This position is for a Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain Alteryx workflows and enhance existing workflows as per business requirements.

You will work with a centralized team of data scientists, data engineers, and report developers who will work in collaboration with Ford Global contact center business customers to design and develop analytical reports and dashboards.

What you’ll be able to do:

  • Design and develop reports/analytics/dashboards by interpreting business requirements.

  • Ensure the implementation of the requirements to develop the final solution.

  • Effectively communicate with technical peers as well as business management

  • Organize and combine data sets to effectively provide business insights to management-level audiences.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field

  • 3+ years of data wrangling in Alteryx or another ETL tool joining multiple entities.

  • 1+ QlikView visualization and dashboard development

  • 1+ Data mining and data modeling skills

Our preferred requirements:

  • Advanced Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field

  • Google Cloud Platform

  • Knowledge of Hadoop, Azure, SQL Server Reporting Services, Oracle/SQL server queries, Excel, and SharePoint

  • Experience working in a Product Driven Agile Organization

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, documentation, and progress-tracking skills

  • Strong analytic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal formats, including process documentation.

  • Self-starter, able to leverage various resources available to learn and try out new concepts and technologies quickly.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in varying areas of business and enterprise technology.

  • Strong collaboration, influencing skills, and the ability to energize a cross-functional team.

  • Knowledge of Ford Customer Service Division/MS&S, GDIA
