Lineage Allentown is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Operator to join our team and play a crucial part in our day to day operations. *KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *

• Precision Planning: Navigate work orders with ease, determining the precise quantities and types of products to be shipping for each order.
• Strategic Search: Utilize your expertise to locate requested items within our warehouse, ensuring swift and accurate retrieval for seamless order fulfillment.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough visual inspections of items, swiftly identifying any damages or flaws and promptly reporting them to supervisor or leads for resolution.
• Efficient Packing: Employ Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment to meticulously pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping, ensuring precise documentation and verification of item counts.
• Proactive Communication: Alert appropriate leaders of any issues with products or materials awaiting directions to swiftly rectify the problem and maintain workflow momentum.
• Team Collaboration: Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, fostering a collaborative environment for optimal efficiency and safety.

• Machinery Mastery: Seamlessly integrate with other machinery and material handling equipment experts, expanding your skill set and contributing to overall operational success.

   

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Must be able to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet identification numbers.
• Prior stand-up forklift experience preferred
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10 Fahrenheit/-15 Celsius in cold storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility 
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed 

• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
