Job Description:

Produce custom plastic injection molded parts for several customers from automotive, housewares, office supplies and more. 

Requirements:

• Must have full knowledge of plastic injection molding industry. 
• Must be able to process and troubleshoot injection molding presses; startup/shut down equipment
• Must be able to process improvement -  finding ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
• Must have knowledge of resin process temperatures and drying temperatures
• Must be able to troubleshoot machinery in order to produce high quality parts to meet customers specifications
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding company standards for efficiency and utilization
• Must be able to verify process parameters and implement changes as appropriate to improve cycle times
• Must monitor process and work station information as presented in mold setup sheets and insure accuracy and conformance to company standards
• Must work in conjunction with the Quality Department to improve process control
• Must be able to troubleshoot processing problems including normal adjustments and checks
• Must maintain injection molding machines and supporting automated systems
• Must assure scrap issues are addressed and fixed in a timely manner
• Must assure housekeeping standards are met
• Must complete Daily Production Reports
• Must have a positive attitude
• Must have good attendance
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have the desire and willingness to learn
• Must be able to work work independently and as a team
• Must have working knowledge of Email to communicate issues, needs and/or concerns to co-workers and management
• Must be able to apply force on the plastic injection molding presses
• Must be able to climb up and down the presses/machines
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
