Job Description
Job Title: Demand Planning Lead
Location: Kazakhstan, Almaty
About the role:
Conduct an analysis of processes and documents regulating the activities of the division;
Optimize division processes;
Plan production for all products for 36 months:
Analyzes monthly sales for all products
Prepares/updates production forecast in the SAP system on a monthly basis
Places production orders for all products in a timely manner
Controls the production and receipt of goods at the Company’s warehouses
Resolves all emerging issues regarding the production and receipt of goods at the Company’s warehouses
Provides quarterly data on the destruction of products with an appropriate expiration date or unfit for sale
How you will contribute:
Coordinate and adjust sales forecast with Global Demand
Conduct Demand Review with business unit heads and product managers
Record all decisions made during the Demand Review meeting in the minutes of the meeting
Analyze supplies and promptly inform product managers about the need to increase activity on a specific product
Prepare data, graphs, slides for the monthly S&OP meeting based on the data received on Demand Review
Conduct monthly S&OP meetings with coordination of actions with structural units to achieve financial goals.
Prepare data for the budget cycle based on information received from Demand Review and from product manufacturers.
Calculate market sales based on received reports from distributors
Fill out and generate a complete package of documents for participation in tenders
Ensure timely introduction of new products to the Kazakhstan market
Coordinate the production of new products with the launch team, manufacturer and employees of Global Supply
Enter transfer prices for new products into the product info record in the SAP system
Initiate the introduction of new products into the SAP program
Plan the production of new products in the SAP system
Control the production of new products
Make changes/extension of new products in ERP system
Initiate/close change control records in the TrackWise system
Inform about the arrival of a new product at the local warehouse
Responsible for the plan for the production and delivery of goods to Kazakhstan;
Ensure the accuracy of the forecast target in accordance with the agreed sales plan;
Monitor product shipments from the local warehouse;
Plan the optimal transition when changing packaging during a planned re-registration or making changes together with the regulatory and marketing departments;
Monitor the expiration of MA certificates and create safety stock in advance;
Ensure timely and efficient information exchange process and escalate quality issues to the relevant management level
What you bring to Takeda:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field of study (Master’s degree preferred)
5+ years of proven experience in supply chain
Advanced Excel, Power Point user
Strong knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, customer service.
Good knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
Experience in coordinating, implementing and/or managing complex, diverse project
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
SAP IBP/APO knowledge is preferred
