ADP Agile Team Leader (Payroll Implementation) in Alpharetta, Georgia

Position Description

The Agile Team Leader (Payroll Implementation) acts as an internal ADP Product and Process Authority that helps navigate other team members in their effort to develop a fully functioning solution for the Client rapidly. The primary focus of this position is to align with the Client Product Owner/Client SME on specific requirements documented through the User Stories and schedule their implementation. The Agile Team Lead guides team members to design, build and validate client requirements, execute testing leveraging client data and liaise with the Client Product Owner (Client SME) on testing results. She/he will work with Client Product Owner (Client SME) to resolve any issues and escalations throughout the implementation process.

The Agile Team Lead helps identify necessary knowledge and skills for the team members and aligns with the Business Owner on closing the gaps. She/he provides coaching and mentoring to all team members and aligns with the Communities of Practice for further knowledge development across the organization. The Agile Team Lead controls any external resources included in the Agile Team and utilizes them to deliver specific activities that others cannot perform across all projects.

The Agile Team Lead coordinates with other teams within the Agile Release Train (ART) and across the organization. The Agile Team Lead reports to the Business Owner.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication within the team.

  • Helps the team to plan activities during the Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions and execute on team commitments and beyond.

  • Leads the execution of the Client implementation process according to ADP GlobalView methodology of client choice.

  • Provide direction on Agile Teams activities, including resources optimization, attainment of individual and Agile Release Train goals, overall alignment with performance management requirements, performance expectation settings, offering coaching and mentoring, and supporting a culture of self-development and talent growth.

  • Work with GlobalView Business Owners and Regional Executives to define, design, deploy, and effectively manage business strategies dedicated to achieving the global implementation objectives.

  • Ensure the Agile Team members are trained and prepared for their roles and responsibilities.

  • Drives a performance-based and learning culture that engages the Agile Team to achieve excellence.

  • Contribute to improving client satisfaction scores.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of knowledge and experience with Agile Frameworks and principles.

  • Minimum 10 years of proven project leadership and management experience.

  • Deep knowledge of GlobalView Payroll and/or other payroll systems required.

  • Growth mindset is essential.

  • Client-focused and committed to providing World Class Service.

  • Proven track record of excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

  • Exceptional negotiation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Payroll knowledge desirable.

  • Understanding Kanban board and planning a plus.
