Director of Solid Waste Engineering - Alpharetta, GA. As the lead engineer, guide and approve geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering documents, designs, models, technical reports, technical specifications and calculations. As an experienced geotechnical engineer, conceive, develop, and engineer innovative solutions for greenhouse gas capture and environmental closures of landfills and waste containment facilities. Provide technical input and subject matter expertise in all aspects of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering for large infrastructure projects including landfills, hazardous waste sites, and containment facilities (e.g., industrial impoundments, ash ponds, dredged material facilities). Support business development for employer in the solid waste markets including performing client research, outreach, evaluation of client needs, meeting and presenting clients and prospects with WatershedGeos innovative solutions. Perform value engineering, benefit/cost analysis, and comparative analysis of alternative solutions. Other similar professional responsibilities as needed.
