Software Engineer - Manager for Equifax Inc. in Alpharetta, GA (Multiple Positions Available) to lead an engineering team focused on building and delivering scalable applications and services in the Data and Analytics space. Build, direct and grow high performing technical teams to deliver industry leading software solutions. Drive the development and implementation of software development strategy. Deliver high-quality innovative solutions working closely with stakeholder teams. Drive the planning, structuring and execution of multi-product release cycles. Design scalable product architectures. Design and roll out agile software processes. Establish relationships with key technology partners and services organizations in order to consistently drive down total cost of ownership. Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipelines, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency. Leverage CI/CD best practices, including test automation and monitoring, to develop end-to-end highly available and efficient data and MLOps pipelines in a distributed computing environment. Utilize advanced scripting and coding capabilities to develop artifacts for alert and event correlation ingested from diverse monitoring sources. Collaborate with the core teams combining software practices and engineering to strengthen the application/system reliability along with operational support. Contribute to all aspects of data engineering from aggregation, transformation, and consumption in addition to designing and building test-driven development, reusable frameworks, automated workflows, and libraries at scale to support analytics products. The Software Engineer - Manager will have a team of direct reports in Software Engineer positions. This ad covers multiple openings for the position described Requires: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six years of experience in software development or, alternatively, a Masters degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus four years of experience in software development. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Agile development with CI/CD using Maven or Jenkins; Web API frameworks, including: Django, Flask, REST, Jquery, or CSS; Source control tools including GitHub or CI/CD pipelines/processes; At least 3 of the following: Java, J2EE, Python, UI development using HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular4/5, or Bootstrap; Spring Framework, including Spring Boot or Hibernate; developing infrastructure as code, deploying and automating infrastructure/applications using Chef, RPM, Docker, GCP or AWS; and implementing and maintaining cloud technologies (GCP or AWS).
