As a Sr Specialist Network Technology Support, you will be responsible for providing technical support of the Classic and Cloud Radio Access Network (RAN). Reporting, tracking, documenting, and assisting various support groups - to include ATS and/or OEM vendors - is an essential skill for this position to diagnose, restore, and accurately report on network events. This role is primary support for remote triage/restoral, prioritization, performance analysis, report analysis, RCA analysis and outage event bridge participation for RAN technologies. This role also provides input to action plans that mitigate any network impact.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus on network fault troubleshooting/resolution and trouble ticket management.

  • Handle RF Safety and Interference Complaints.

  • Field personnel technical support.

  • IVR phone support.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years’ experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.

  • Part of a 24x7 staff delivering network tech support.

  • Extensive level experience troubleshooting, maintaining, configuring, provisioning, and supporting Ericsson RAN equipment (4G = eNodeB, 5G = gNodeB).

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Cloud related concepts such as Kubernetes(K8), VNF & Orchestration

  • Familiarity with Linux and comfortable working on software applications using Linux.

  • Familiarity with common security UAM protocols such as TACACS and LDAP

  • Trained and competent in the use of RF related performance tools (Arieso, Optima…)

Desired Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Sciences or Operations preferred.

Our Sr. Specialist Network Technology Support earns between $77,800 - $116,800 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
