The role you’ll contribute:

The ERP Finance Senior Manager is part of the Finance team supporting multiple FSCM modules including but not limited to General Ledger, Payables, Asset Management, Project Cost, Treasury and Reporting, in support of technologies for Shared Services and Finance Departments at our Facilities.

The ERP Finance Senior Manager works under the direction of the ERP Finance Executive Director and manages team members assigned to the Finance implementation team. The ERP Finance Senior Manager is responsible for oversight of the integrity, security, effectiveness and efficiency of the Finance systems. Oversight activities including but are not limited to:

· System configuration,

· Data conversion

· Functional specifications

· Program object, pre-“Go-live” data and process testing

· Go-live and post go-live implementation

· Oversee and provide guidance to managers and leads involved in the design and configuration of Finance systems to ensure the integrity, security, effectiveness and efficiency of the Shared Services and Facility Finance teams

· In support of Finance objectives, ERP leadership and the efforts of direct report’s, facilitate cross-team functional integration in the accomplishment of established goals. Share ideas and information openly

· Proactively resolve or minimize the impact of team conflicts by establishing positive working relationships

· Analyze issues and effectively present recommendations to audiences at various levels. Lead group efforts toward the resolution of complex problems in a professional, courteous impartial manner. Oversee the completion of internal and external documentation during project and software development phases as assigned

· Possess and add to expert-level functional knowledge of ERP software and related Finance processes. Transfer knowledge to subordinates in preparation for their growth and advancement

· Oversee compilation of functional specifications needed for interfaces, enhancements, and conversions. Collaborate with leadership to gain key stakeholder approval

· Oversee the maintenance of logs and documentation as needed. Review documentation and ensure escalation protocol is followed as required by the project plan

· Review testing results in Finance testing applications looking for areas of enhancement or process improvement recommendations. Ensure project issues are recorded, monitored and updated as needed. Oversee accurate documentation of issue resolution and outcome

· Utilize high level of conceptual and analytical skills to critique and optimize system design and build. Leading by example, foster a culture of learning by exploring creative solutions. Be prepared to alter business “as is” to “business as may need to be” for future system optimization

· Disperse new system knowledge willingly to enhance/increase the knowledge of ERP team members, Finance Shared Services, IT and other ERP partners

· Provide input into the creation of policies and procedures related to Finance system process

· Assist in development of end-user training materials

· May occasionally require off hours support

Specialty Area – Implementation Work Stream

The ERP Finance Senior Manager will act in an oversight capacity in addition to being a primary resource and liaison for driving facility operations cut-over preparation efforts throughout the AHS deployment roll-out schedule. The Sr. Manager provides oversight and guidance to deployment project managers and leads in the execution of deployment tasks and milestones delivered by the deployment teams while ensuring deployment project plans are executed in a timely and efficient manner. In short, this position is responsible for ensuring external and internal client satisfaction through successful direction of project deployment delivery, cultivating an atmosphere of trust and confidence in the AHS ERP deployment process. Responsibilities include:

· Execution of ERP Finance Playbook in all phases of implementation

· Oversee the creation and maintenance of project status reports, Finance assessments, decision tracker, deployment tracker, and checklists. Ensure issues are escalated as appropriate.

· Provide guidance and oversight in the management and delivery of client deployments through execution of pre-cut over and cut over milestones, including oversight and tracking of facility requirements, gap analysis, testing and cutover support.

· Oversee both the translation of business requirements into application design and the identification of system gaps within the defined scope and project objectives. Reduce risk by engaging deployment leads in gap mitigation of identified risks to align system functionality with overall AHS business strategy.

· Represent the functional Finance Team during implementation planning meetings and subsequent iSynergy Finance activities across the AHS organization.

· Ensure the implementation managers/leads partner with AHS technical, functional & consultant teams to confirm tasks related to gaps and work-around solutions are completed on time leading to successful implementations. Appraise functional and IT teams of progress and pertinent system/data requirements.

Specialty Area – Production Support

The ERP Finance Senior Manager will act in an oversight capacity in addition to being a primary resource and liaison in support of all issues related to PeopleSoft Finance. The ERP Finance Senior Manager provides oversight and guidance to the Implementation Work Stream team, supporting the resolution of incidents and issues emulating from the field, as well as, designing enhancements and fixes to the current Finance system.

· Responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to the team involved in troubleshooting, Request/Incident management, and issue resolution

· Partner with Finance Shared Services for optimization planning

· Oversees the development of functional specification documents for new PeopleSoft objects or enhancements

· Partner with IT on break/fix issues and new development

· Provide oversight to the testing of all changes to Finance processes and interfaces

· Partner with PeopleSoft security team to ensure users have appropriate access

· Partner with the Segregation of Duty Committee to ensure all Finance security roles meet the requirements

· Confirms the proper execution of data corrections, ensuring there is minimal downstream impact

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Bachelors degree required

· 10-12 years’ PeopleSoft Finance or equivalent software experience

· 2-4 years’ Project Software Implementation related experience

· 12 years of combined ERP and other relevant experience

· Seeking Workday experience with FIN modules preferred

Preferred Qualifications :

· Master’s Degree preferred

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams and facility resource project leads

· Extensive knowledge of healthcare operations desired

· Healthcare, PeopleSoft, or Accounting experience

· PMP, ITIL or Six Sigma Certification a plus

· ERP Project implementation

· ERP Application Maintenance and Support

· Operational experience within related field
