Your mission will be…

We are seeking a Co-Leader/Mendix Expert (m/f/d) to join our Chapter Process Digitalization team at Siemens Financial Services. This role will be responsible for leading the team alongside the current (part-time) Chapter Lead, as well as taking on the role of low-code/Mendix expert.

As Co-Leader, you will work in an interdisciplinary team, leading the development and operation of innovative services and apps through multiple development teams. You will also be responsible for the continuous and individual development of your team and for structured resource management.

As Mendix Expert Developer, you will participate in initial demand clarifications and provide estimations for potential upcoming projects, develop new applications in Scrum teams for projects delivered worldwide, enhance, and support existing applications, and be the go-to person for all architectural and central technical topics.

We are looking for someone with…

  • A university degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field

  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT, ideally in the financial industry as a team leader.

  • Leadership experience in building or expanding a team in a very dynamic and innovative environment

  • Project management experience in the IT environment and familiarity with agile methodology such as SCRUM

  • Proven track record with at least 3 years of working experience on agile projects as a software developer and/or in the area of low-code.

  • Experience in translating customer requirements, conception, and presentation of solutions

  • Quick understanding of business processes and requirements in a financial context

  • Highly cooperative and trustworthy personality

  • Motivation to meet deadlines, hands-on mentality, flexibility, proactivity, and willingness and curiosity to learn new technologies

  • Strong communication skills, an organized and results-oriented work style, and strong negotiation skills

  • Analytical thinking, assertive and show a high degree of initiative and teamwork

  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, with knowledge of German being desirable

What will make you stand out:

  • Experience with Mendix is highly valued

  • Experience in other low-code development platforms is also valued (e.g. Outsystems)

  • Experience with Robotics Process Automation would be a big plus

  • Experience in IT projects in a financial context or any financial qualification

  • Open mentality and eagerness to learn everyday
