We are seeking a Senior Test Manager to join our team and take charge of designing a comprehensive test process from scratch while driving the adoption of testing practices across the organization. As a Senior Test Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services by establishing robust testing frameworks, methodologies, and strategies.
Your mission will be…
Design and Develop Test Process: Take ownership of creating a tailored test process that aligns with the organization’s goals, industry standards, and best practices. This includes defining testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
Establish Testing Standards: Define and implement testing standards, guidelines, and procedures to maintain consistency and quality across all testing activities within the organization.
Lead Testing Initiatives: Lead and oversee testing initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, prioritize test activities, and allocate resources effectively.
Drive Testing Adoption: Advocate for the importance of testing and quality assurance within the organization by promoting a culture of quality, conducting training sessions, and providing mentorship to team members on testing best practices.
Evaluate and Select Testing Tools: Research, evaluate, and recommend testing tools and technologies that best suit the organization’s needs and objectives. Implement selected tools and ensure proper integration with existing systems.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the testing process and make continuous improvements based on feedback, lessons learned, and industry trends.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including project managers, development teams, and senior management, to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and recommendations.
We are looking for someone with…
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Test Manager or similar role, with a track record of designing and implementing successful test processes from scratch.
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire others.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments is preferred.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB are a plus.
