We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for our church community! *Responsibilities: *

• Daily cleaning and sanitization of all rooms in the church building and youth house

  • This is a Monday-Friday position with an average of 25hrs/ Week.
  • Tasks typically take 5 hours, with flexibility for additional hours during special events

• *Cleaning Tasks: *

  • Empty trash cans and replace liners
  • Dust and polish furniture
  • Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors
  • Clean and disinfect windows, doors, and light fixtures
  • Sanitize restrooms and high-touch surfaces
  • Maintain a clean and organized nursery

• *Inventory and Organization: *

  • Keep cleaning supplies well-stocked and organized for efficient use
  • Maintain a tidy and organized supply closet

• *Safety: *

  • Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer's instructions

• *Adaptability: *

  • Be prepared to adjust daily tasks as needs arise, especially before and after special events, funerals, or other church activities.

*Qualifications: *

• Previous experience in cleaning and janitorial work is preferred.
• A strong work ethic, with a commitment to providing high-quality cleaning services.
• Excellent attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies (up to 25 lbs).
• Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
• Friendly and respectful demeanor, fostering a positive work environment.
