Job Title: Production Coordinator

Job Description

Our company is seeking a Production Coordinator to oversee the planning and forecasting of production-related activities. Your duties will include coordinating activities between customer service, production and traffic for all orders, ensuring food and employee safety, scheduling finished goods and semi-finished products, and releasing raw materials and packaging from our contracted suppliers. We rely on our Production Planners to demonstrate ownership of plant and food safety, including adherence to regulatory requirements.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in AMERICAN CANYON, California.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and dynamic. Your shift will typically be 8AM-5PM, but we can be flexible with an earlier start time depending on your needs. You will be based in the planning office, where about 9-10 people work. Staff from the production floor frequently visit the office to provide information or ask questions, so you must be comfortable working around many moving people. You will spend 20% of your time on the floor and 80% at your desk on the computer. You may occasionally need to lift heavy items, such as boxes of paper weighing up to 50lbs. Our company is a chocolate manufacturing company, so temperatures can range from very warm (90 degrees) to cold (40 degrees). We invest heavily in a comprehensive training program and have a team dedicated to getting new hires up to speed as quickly as possible
