Position Title: Administrative Support 1, FT
Minimum Entry Salary *: Based On Experience Location: Americus, GA Services Area/Programs: New Beginnings
Description of Duties: Effectively receive and enter client data for adults and CandA into an electronic health record, POE. Check clients in and out of their appointments. Make appointments and follow up appointments for clients and staff. Maintain staff schedules and department referrals. Verify Medicaid status daily. Check client authorization status daily. Review the Benchmark website for possible admissions daily, if required. Manages the suicide prevention client list. Collect client payments, process the payment in the ECR and forward the payment to Administration. Scan and upload documents to the clients ECR. Answer calls, takes messages, make copies, and send emails and faxes as needed. Performs appointment reminder and failed appointment calls. Develop/execute agency/departmental reports to show outcomes and statistics for the adult and/or CandA program (APEX). Prepares weekly and monthly reports of census, ADA and Authorizations, etc. for management. Taking minutes for staff meetings/client staffings. Sort and distribute mail and faxes. Orders all supplies, issues PO requests for all office needs. Maintain and perform safety drills and inspections. Performs other duties as assigned. May have to travel to different work sites to provide coverage if needed. * Minimum Qualifications*: High School diploma or GED AND the Ability to perform basic office functions and computer related tasks. Data entry and typing skills with moderate to high proficiency. Valid, unrestricted Georgia Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications: Clerical experience demonstrating knowledge of medical revenue cycle, proficient in the use of various software applications, experience with various payment collection systems (i.e., credit card, debit card, checks), and/or experience in customer service. Knowledge of the prior authorization process. Knowledge of Crisis prevention/de-escalation and CPR and first aid certification.
