Insight Global Eastern Iowa Service Technician in Ames, Iowa
Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a Service Technician in a Contract-to-Hire role for a client of ours in Eastern Iowa. This candidate will be servicing internet clients all across the eastern Iowa region. Any service requests, outages, and while not handling service requests they will be working in a customer service/ helpdesk role. The hiring manager is looking for someone who can go out into the field and trust that the work is getting done in a timely and professional manner. Candidates will be expected to follow direction from the Project Manager, and also a PM Tool called Base Camp that lays out project details and to-dos. This candidate will join a team of telecommunication professionals who provide high-speed internet and security solutions to commercial business and multi-dwelling units.
$20/hr to $23/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
At least 6+ months of professional industry experience
Experience with hardwire and internet routing
Helpdesk experience null
