Van-Wall Equipment, Inc. Machine Alerts Analyst in Ames, Iowa
Job Summary
The Machine Alerts Analyst will monitor machine alerts and advise customers on machine issues
that require attention. The role will facilitate and coordinate appropriate follow up with service
departments. Internal and external communication will include triaging alerts with augmented
information from other systems to support the maximization of machine uptime. This role will be
based at our Ames, IA centralized support facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Monitors and manages data related to Machine Alerts
-Contacts customers as necessary with Machine Alert information to increase uptime
-Collaborates as needed with service departments to address alerts and other machine needs
-Responsible for delivering high level customer experience through effective communication
and support of customers towards resolution of machine needs
-Proactively seeks and participates in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to
develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
-Assists in other customer service support and training roles as necessary
-Assist other departments as needed
Position Qualifications
-Bachelors degree within an agricultural discipline preferred. Associates degree required.
-Must be team oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
-Familiarity with agricultural equipment strongly preferred
-Computer proficiency and past experience working with basic software including G Suite and
Microsoft Office
-Must exemplify the company’s core values
-Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
-Analyze and interpret internal and external reports
-Ability to work extended hours or weekends (when scheduled)
