Job Description

The Operations & Information Management (OIM) Department of the Isenberg School of Management invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position, non-tenure track, in Business Statistics to start in February or September 2025.

This full-time position requires teaching six course sections per academic year, plus providing departmental service. Teaching responsibilities include multiple graduate level sections of the course Statistics for Business, and other courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels as needed.

The initial appointment will be for two years, with renewal based on performance. The Lecturer will join a team of faculty noted for excellence and innovation in undergraduate and graduate education. The successful candidate will work with faculty and advising staff to assess student outcomes and foster student success.

Requirements

Prior to the start date, candidates must have a master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in an area such as Statistics, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline, with a doctorate degree preferred. Demonstrated ability, or potential, to teach business statistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels in face-to-face and online formats is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in at least one statistical software platform (e.g., Excel, Tableau) and Canvas Learning Management System is desirable.
