Delaware North Reservation Sales Agent, Buffalo Reservation Center, Remote in Amherst, New York

The Opportunity

Delaware North is hiring full-time Reservation Agents to join our Reservation Center team. As a Reservation Sales Agent, you will handle inbound calls from customers who wish to make reservations at hotels and resorts around the country. A qualified candidate will meet our companies’ vision by delighting guests to create world-class experiences.

This is a full-time remote position. However, some in-person training will be required at our headquarters in Buffalo, NY.

Pay

$15.00 - $16.50 / hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound customer calls and provide good customer service

  • Identify customers’ needs and wants

  • Use all available resources to answer customer questions

  • Create reservations for customers and recognize opportunities to offer packages and additional services

  • Communicate with hotel/resort front desk staff

  • Collaborate with managers to assist customers and reach sales goals

Qualifications

  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent listener

  • Adaptable to different personality types

  • Customer-focused with a love for helping others

  • Maintain a positive, and professional attitude toward customers at all times

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Comfortable using computers with strong typing skills

  • Able to utilize call center software and tools appropriately

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

  • Must be able to sit for long periods

  • Experience working in customer service or the hospitality industry is preferred
