Opportunity Overview
Rhythm Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the International Operations Associate Director position. In this newly created role, you will be a key member of the International team and be responsible for developing Rhythm International Business Excellence framework supporting Rhythm acceleration and upcoming launches, supporting our commercial development in new geographies with local partners and leading International data analytics activities . You will report to the Head of International Operations.
Responsibilities & Duties
Develop a Business Excellence framework
Monitor defined Key Performance Indicators, identify critical issues and recommend solutions
Develop and maintain dashboards for tracking and analysis
Recommend new Key Performance Indicators aligned with Rhythm objectives
Lead relevant cross-functional workstreams
Lead the International Operational Excellence for upcoming launches
Develop Key Performance Indicators
Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor launch performance
Identify operational challenges and provide actionable solutions
Support the management of on-going local alliances jointly with the New Markets & Alliances Director
Coordinate steering committees and joint meetings and facilitate the interactions with the international functions to optimize collaboration
Ensure timely communication of key outcomes and insights, advising internal teams and leadership on potential opportunities and challenges
Assess business requirements and suggest improvements to meet changing business needs, linking internal & partner key stakeholders
Conduct periodic health checks with internal and external stakeholders and regularly implement feedback to enhance alliance efficiency and effectiveness
Lead data analytics projects
Lead market research activities by performing primary and secondary market analysis to support our geographic expansion and market understanding
Support the generation of new data evidence (i.e., claims data, surveys, etc.) with the relevant functions (Market Access, Medical, etc…)
Perform any other tasks and missions aligned with Rhythm business needs in relation to the importance of the position and responsibilities
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in science or economics, Master’s in Marketing and/or Business Administration a plus
5-10+ years’ professional experience in the Life Sciences industry or Strategy consulting for the Life Science
Business acumen and operational foresight
Strong analytical & modeling skills
Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools is a plus
Proven ability to develop exceptional relationships and to achieve positive impact without authority
Team player able to work collaboratively cross-functionally
Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This role is a remote role based in Europe. Candidates applying must be willing and able to work primarily out of their home office. This role may involve some travel.
