IBM Marketing and Communicatons Intern in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Introduction

The Marketing Communications and Citizenship (MCC) team, work in service of the business priorities to build market awareness for our capabilities, to build and enhance relationships with clients, prospects, and business partners, and to generate demand for our Technology and Consulting capabilities.

For the Northern, Central and Eastern Europe (NCEE) team, based out of our Amsterdam office, we are looking for hand-on, can do marketing specialists who want to run their internship (werk-stage) in tech and services marketing. Come and join the team. You will spend 6-12 months on different assignments, working for parts of the MCC organization and learning a ton! "

Your Role and Responsibilities

Ability to work on multiple activities in a timely manner including:

  • Assisting the creation and readiness of the quarterly social content and amplification plan for key events in the market. Ensuring content, tone of voice is on brand.

  • Help to ensure the quarterly events (including business partner enablement events) are accurately reflected on the IBM external website, and the internal publishing site.

  • Crafting video communications for business partner promotion

  • Support business partner marketing enablement even

  • Support the events team and join 3rd party events as part of the specialist team on site where needed.

  • Distribute and follow up marketing qualified leads to sales qualified leads from events run in a specific timeframe.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

To interview for your internship on the team based in Amsterdam, here's what we are looking for (Requirements):

  • An understanding of different marketing communications activities and how to run them.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications in English and preferred good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, with good time management and organizational skills.

  • Familiar with MS suite, and design/video editing skills for social media.

  • Keen interest in how technology is applied to support business transformation.

  • Willingness to learn and communicate clearly in a team.

  • Strong sense of responsibility towards work and be a team player.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Be a student at a Dutch MBO or HBO RoC or Hogeschool. Live in the Amsterdam region. Ability to travel and be in the physical office atleast 3-4 days a week.
