As a Manager on Avanade’s Global Applications & Architecture team, you’ll leverage a client-centric approach to translate our client’s business strategy into solutions and services that lead to successful, impactful outcomes. You’ll engage in solutioning and support on the most strategic opportunities, intervene on high-risk complex deliveries and contribute to shape the strategic direction around application architecture.

What you’ll do

• Act as a solution architect to construct large-scale, complex solutions for clients (solution shaping, estimating, ensuring overall solution and contractual obligations are deliverable)

• Design cloud architecture and complete plans and specifications to develop solutions

• Design and develop IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards

• Provide experienced leadership and technical direction influencing the successful delivery of client projects

• Coach, mentor and motivate team members to influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work

Skills and experiences

• Azure technical engagements (architectural design sessions, Proof of Concepts [PoC])

• Deep technical client-facing architecture discussions with all client stakeholders from engineering to senior-level client executives

• Deep, hands-on design and development background in Cloud and Azure across a wide range of Azure services

• Extensive relevant technology business leadership experience (solution pre-sales, creation, delivery, business management)

• Other skills may include: SQL experience, Application Insights, Event Hub/Event Capture, Azure Service Fabric/AKS, DevOps Pipelines (YAML)
