The Accounting/Office Manager oversees the daily operation of the company’s accounting, payroll and human resources departments ensuring accurate financial reporting, accurate completion of weekly payroll and compliance with human resource law.

Pay: $55K-$65K annually 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Duties:

  • Follow best practice accounting principles in supervision of accounts receivable and payable functions; attempt resolution of issues for more complex transactions

  • Complete month end closing procedures to include account reconciliations and review of transactions

  • Manage weekly payroll processes; liaise with payroll vendor regarding programmatic issues; implement and communicate improvements

  • Oversee the human resources function to include employment & labor regulations, policy development, and benefits; collaborate with external consultant as appropriate

  • Coordinate internal and external audit preparation

  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services performed

  • Assist as backup for all areas in the office as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in a finance or accounting role 

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or business related field 

  • RV or automotive industry experience preferred but not required

  • Prior experience leading and managing a team 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position supervises the office accounting team and the payroll and human resources positions. Responsibilities include making hiring recommendations; instructing and training in work methods; planning, scheduling and assigning work; checking and approving work; evaluating performance; and recommending disciplinary actions regarding unsatisfactory employees.
