St. Mary's Healthcare Addictions Medicine Physician in Amsterdam, New York
St. Mary's is seeking a full-time, hospital employed physician to join our Addiction Medicine Team. Must be NYS licensed MD/DO and BC/BE in Addictions Medicine.
Hiring range: $242,333 - $348,000
Responsibilities:
Conducts assessments/evaluates clients dealing with substance abuse disorders.
Develops treatment plans using appropriate medical and diagnostic skills. Monitors treatment plans regularly.
Works in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to help ensure patients reach their treatment goals and maintain long-term success.
Acts as consulting physician for other providers/medical professionals as needed.
Providers Medical Director Leadership in accordance with OASAS guidelines.
Complexity of Work: • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Required Credential(s): • Board Certified MD/DO licensed by New York State. Board-certified/eligible in Addictions Medicine.
