Hiring range: $99,496. - $ 136,859.

Offer rates are based on experience. Offer rates at the higher end of the range are only for applicants with many years of experience

Beautiful location 40 minutes west of Albany & Saratoga Springs, NY. Offering a full time outpatient opportunity to join a growing independent community hospital in a rural Health Provider Shortage Area (HPSA). Schedule is Monday-Friday with minimal on call rotation, by phone only. Attractive compensation package includes Base salary, sign-on bonus, semi-annual bonuses, CME allowance, License, DEA reimbursement, and comprehensive fringe benefits package.

Position: The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing service. In this exciting new role, the APP will work under experienced pulmonary and critical physicians in managing patients with diverse pulmonary disease processes in both the inpatient and outpatient clinical areas. The APP will also round in the intensive care unit and be given the opportunity to perform procedures, if desired. This position affords the APP exposure to all aspects of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year of experience, although highly motivated new graduates with interests and abilities in the care of pulmonary and intensive care unit patients will be considered and are encouraged to apply. Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities ● Performing medical evaluations, treatment, follow-up, and consultations for diverse pulmonary and sleep medicine patients in the inpatient and outpatient clinical settings in conjunction with the attending pulmonologist. ● Rounding on critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit alongside the intensivist. ● Performing supervised procedures with the intensivist, if desired. ● Participating in call coverage for the clinic after-hours. ● Delivering direct patient care as part of a collaborative patient care team.

• Required Credential(s): • Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant

• Education: • Certified and Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), obtained prior to start date OR

• Certified and Registered Physician Assistant (PA) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), obtained prior to start date.
