NY1498613 School Bus Monitors Student Transportation of America/Brown Transportation As a School Bus Monitor you will be responsible for ensuring safety on the bus is adhered to and maintained at all times. Our ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude along with the ability to get along with varying personalities. In addition our candidate must be able to thrive in a fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities: *Ensure Safety is maintained on the bus at all times. *Check to ensure safety of all students. *Assist students in entering and exiting the bus. *Maintain professional and courteous demeanor at all times. *Liaise with parents on an as needed basis. *Assist in maintaining cleanliness of assigned bus at all times. *Monitor all passengers at all times to ensure safety is maintained throughout trips. *Occasionally attend field trips and special events to ensure passenger safety.
Qualifications: *Strong customer service skills. *Passion for working with children. *Must be over 18 years of age *Strong communication skills with the ability to provide effective resolution *Constantly aware of surroundings to ensure that passenger safety is maintained at all times *Ability to successfully complete all required training *Ability to pass a background check.
