Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join the Data Center Power & Control Division Team in Anaheim, CA. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting employees and leaders in all areas of HR, including staffing and onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations and engagement, company events, training and development, health and safety policy interpretation and application, compliance with labor laws/regulatory requirements and HR/payroll system transactions.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $105,000

What Will You Do?

  • Assist with the development of policies, practices, and procedures related to Human Resources and communicate and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Oversees all areas of Human Resources responsibilities to ensure that all federal, state, and local regulations are in compliance.

  • Provide support to employees and managers with all compensation and benefits administration, assisting employees with issues directly or coordinating with the corporate benefits team.

  • Manage the performance review process by monitoring activity to ensure completion and coach managers on conducting meaningful goal, development, and performance feedback discussions.

  • Manage multiple projects to support HR initiatives and employee relations programs, including planning and executing employee events and meetings, employee wellness programs, and other company sponsored activities.

  • Manage recruitment process, following established hiring procedures to ensure timely placements and a positive candidate experience.

  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all employee personnel records.

  • Maintain positive employee relations with the workforce by counseling, mentoring, and solving problems with managers and employees on matters affecting job success and apprising leadership when situations arise.

  • Assist with safety programs and support OSHA compliance with records maintenance and annual reporting/posting.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience is required.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Possess exceptional people skills and ability to interact professionally at all levels of an organization.

  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail, and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.

  • Ability to evaluate situations, identify options, and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.

  • Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus, extract necessary information, and validate understanding of the information.

  • Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.

  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to use web-based resources effectively.

  • Must have solid business acumen and understanding of a variety of functional areas within the business.

  • Must be able to balance the needs of people within the framework of the business needs of the company.
