What can you expect?
As the Project Quality Control Manager, you will work onsite in field rotations for several weeks in remote job locations in Alaska, typically seven days a week for ten hours a day. If not in the field, you will work on-site out of the Anchorage office and be responsible for overall management of project quality control and quality control personnel.
How will you do it?
- Responsible for overall management and implementation of project Quality Control with the authority to act in all project quality control matters for Brice Environmental Services Corporation.
- Direct inspections and audit programs and initiate corrective actions based on review of data or customer input.
- Ensure that procedures and processes initiated and performed by project employees are done in accordance with safety procedures.
- Coordinate and lead project site meetings for quality control.
- Organize and maintain project documentation for the project team to provide to the client.
- Assists with managing daily project reporting including timekeeping, environmental and permit compliance and daily reports.
- Prepares correspondence as needed.
- Work with the Construction Superintendent to provide updates to project schedule.
- Maintains effective communication and coordination among all project participants.

- Availability to travel to remote locations as required by assigned project.

Supervisory Functions:
This position would potentially supervise QC staff as needed and directed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of job-costing and accounting procedures.
- Knowledge of computer-based construction and scheduling programs.
- Ability to communicate with employees, business partners, and clients professionally and effectively via written and verbal communication methods.

- Ability to interpret and communicate project plans and drawings.
- Should have adequate knowledge of database software, spreadsheet software, scheduling software, job costing software and word processing software. Microsoft packages preferred.
Who is Brice Solutions looking for?
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in Engineer, Architecture or Construction Management and have a minimum of five (5) years construction experience or in lieu of the education and experience requirements, a candidate may qualify provided they have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in construction quality control and are International Code Council (ICC) certified as a Commercial Building Inspector or have the ability and willingness to obtain the ICC Certification.
- Experience in writing Quality Control plans required
- Experience with lead, asbestos and mold remediation required

``` - Valid state drivers license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of Brice Solutions Driving Policy - Ability to pass a drug, driving, and background screenings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with USACE and RMS preferred
- Current Construction Quality Management for Contractors certificate preferred
