Adecco US, Inc. Process Engineer II in Angola, Indiana

Adecco has partnered with a manufacturing leader in the Angola, IN area to recruit a skilled Process Engineer II!

Position Overview:

As a Process Engineer II, you will play a vital role in ensuring manufacturing operations run efficiently while supporting growth and innovation. This role combines hands-on problem-solving with strategic planning to improve processes and support new product development in a fast-paced environment.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop and manage routers , bills of materials , and inspection instruction sheets to support production.

  • Use statistical process control (SPC) methods to lead and implement process improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate as part of the material review board to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges.

  • Design and optimize inspection and gauging methods while evaluating inspection frequencies.

  • Support medical device development , including product design reviews and pre-production assessments.

  • Manage the manufacturing aspects of new product releases (NPRs) and execute validation protocols.

  • Work on corrective and preventive actions to address customer complaints and improve product quality.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. (Mechanical, Industrial, Bio/Med - NOT Chemical)

  • 3 plus years of experience in an engineering role

  • Experience using AutoCAD , SolidWorks , or related software.

  • Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) .

  • Familiarity with statistical tools like control charts and capability analysis.

  • Knowledge of quality management system standards .

  • Experience with risk management tools , such as failure mode & effects analysis ( FMEA ).

  • Background in CNC machining processes or the medical device industry .

  • Basic understanding of validation , PPAP , or APQP .

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
