Adecco has partnered with a manufacturing leader in the Angola, IN area to recruit a skilled Process Engineer II!

Position Overview:
As a Process Engineer II, you will play a vital role in ensuring manufacturing operations run efficiently while supporting growth and innovation. This role combines hands-on problem-solving with strategic planning to improve processes and support new product development in a fast-paced environment.
A Day in the Life:
Develop and manage routers , bills of materials , and inspection instruction sheets to support production.
Use statistical process control (SPC) methods to lead and implement process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate as part of the material review board to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges.
Design and optimize inspection and gauging methods while evaluating inspection frequencies.
Support medical device development , including product design reviews and pre-production assessments.
Manage the manufacturing aspects of new product releases (NPRs) and execute validation protocols.
Work on corrective and preventive actions to address customer complaints and improve product quality.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. (Mechanical, Industrial, Bio/Med - NOT Chemical)
3 plus years of experience in an engineering role
Experience using AutoCAD , SolidWorks , or related software.
Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) .
Familiarity with statistical tools like control charts and capability analysis.
Knowledge of quality management system standards .
Experience with risk management tools , such as failure mode & effects analysis ( FMEA ).
Background in CNC machining processes or the medical device industry .
Basic understanding of validation , PPAP , or APQP .
