The NICU department is a 30 bed unit, and a Level III NICU w/Special Care Nursery (SCN) population

It has a highly developed multidisciplinary team that has a focus on strong family-centered and relationship-based care.

NICU experience strongly preferred; will consider GN’s who have had a NICU internship or immersion through nursing program

REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE

MUST HAVE at least two years of NICU experience at a Level III or higher.

· Requires current Michigan Nursing License

· Graduation from accredited nursing program

· New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years

· New graduate nurses, requires licensure examination scheduled within 45 days of hire

Minimum of two years of experience.
