Senior Account Manager Retail
Description NSF is seeking a Senior Account Manager Retail to join our growing team. As the Senior Account Manager Retail, you serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for assigned complex or international customers. In this role you will work directly with audit and management team to ensure client satisfaction while meeting program and organizational goals. Provide mentoring to Account Managers; act as the subject matter expert for technical and administrative support to program teams as assigned. Principal Accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Provide client consultation and advisory services and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. Responsible for managing assigned clients including coordination with all appropriate service areas and ensuring delivery of superior customer service. Responsible for ensuring assigned client program(s) meet all corporate and program requirements for accreditation and internal quality and compliance requirements. Mentor Account Managers by providing guidance with LEAN processes and assisting with solutions for issue resolution. Participate in development, implementation and revisions of related policies for assigned client program(s). Identify areas of process improvement across all program areas and lead implementation efforts within assigned region. Provide input on revenue and expenses for the development of annual operating and budgetary plans for assigned client program(s). Responsible profit/loss analysis and submission of periodic reports. Establish program metrics and provide ongoing follow-up and status reports to management as requested. Participate in the selection of employee and contract audit providers. Develop and deliver presentations to clients, manufacturers, trade associations, regulatory agencies, and other interested parties. Train and mentor staff on assigned client requirements to ensure proper understanding and implementation of services. Serve as a guide and mentor to new or junior account team members. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in environmental health, food science, food technology, dietetics, nutrition or other related scientific area OR Bachelor's degree plus an RS/REHS certification A minimum of seven (7) years relevant work experience in food safety program management. Work experience with industry, corporate, third-party or regulatory food safety audit programs. Work experience with reading, reviewing and analyzing food safety inspection reports. Effective oral communication, exceptional attention to detail and excellent organization and multi-tasking skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 25% of the time. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in environmental health, food science, food technology, dietetics, nutrition or other related scientific area and RS/REHS certification Successful NSF Global Food experience Experience with large complex or international account/program management Previous experience as a third party food safety auditor/inspector CP-FS Certification and/or RS/REHS preferred Salary Range: $60,000 - $102,000 USD The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
