HealthFitness Injury Prevention Coordinator in Anna, Ohio

We are currently seeking an Injury Prevention Coordinator to work at our client site in Anna, Ohio. As the Coordinator you will develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs focused on the prevention of work-related injuries, physical conditioning, department placement and employee education and wellness within the manufacturing environment. This is done in collaboration with the Client’s employee healthcare teams, Plant Safety as well as other Client employee health-related departments.

Schedule: 40 hrs/wk; M-Th 5:30a-2p; F 7:30a-4p

Your Impact:

  • Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.

  • Leads the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.

  • Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.

  • Interacts directly with client employees (associates).

  • Facilitates individual and group behavior change programs including stretching, job coaching, work conditioning, and general health improvement programs.

  • Collect and evaluate program data to support ROI process, manages and reports data for their assigned plant.

  • Develop, promote and market wellness and general education programs.

  • Integrates effectively and seamlessly with client’s health related partners including Safety and other employee health-related departments.

  • Maintains accurate records and ensures confidentiality of data collected.

  • Represent HealthFitness in client sponsored events and activities as applicable.

  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

What you bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or related field.

  • Current Adult First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.

  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of individuals both within HealthFitness and the client organization.

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Work, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Compensation: $53k-$55k/yr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
