Job Title: Assembler- 20/hr
Job Description
This position in the specific line department is responsible for building and assembling copper piping and rubber tubing for High Density Liquid Cooling products. Employees will work with hand and power tools and utilize blueprints to assemble more complex assemblies of cooling systems and mild steel enclosures. The role includes learning to braze copper piping and grinding off the finish product. Employees will be standing throughout the shift and will sometimes work individually as well as in a team.
Responsibilities
Build and assemble copper piping and rubber tubing for High Density Liquid Cooling products.
Work with hand and power tools.
Utilize blueprints to assemble complex assemblies of cooling systems and mild steel enclosures.
Learn and perform brazing of copper piping.
Grind and finish assembled products.
Stand throughout the shift and work individually or in a team.
May move to other assembly departments to perform a variety of daily tasks.
Essential Skills
Experience working with hand tools.
Ability to read and utilize blueprints for assembling complex assemblies.
Comfortable standing for the entire shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
No previous manufacturing experience required, but a desire to get into manufacturing is essential.
3+ months of assembly experience is a plus.
Knowledge or experience working with tools.

Work Environment
The work environment is a very large manufacturing setting that operates at a high speed, but it is not an assembly line. While the environment is clean, it can get hot in the summer as it is not temperature controlled. The High Density Liquid Cooling (HDLC) department operates on the 3rd shift with current openings requiring employees to work from 11:30pm to 7:30am, Sunday night through Thursday night. Mandatory overtime may require employees to start at 11:00pm when needed.
