Anoka-Hennepin Schools Summer Workers - Warehouse Support in Anoka, Minnesota

WAREHOUSE SUPPORT - 2 or more temporary non-bargaining unit seasonal worker positions available - help in the WAREHOUSE. DATES & SUMMER HOURS: June 2024 thru July 2024 (no work on July 4); up to 8 hours a day PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support current warehouse staff in the delivery and distribution of materials and furniture. Load and ship orders for individual schools and district buildings; Receive freight, check in merchandise against purchase orders, and fill stock bins. Other general duties as assigned, MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to work cooperatively with staff. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices, and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working at the building. Preferred Qualifications: Warehouse experience preferred. RATE OF PAY: $16.50/ hour; There is no vacation or benefits for summer/seasonal/temporary staff. Assignments will be made based on Warehouse and Elementary Currirculum Dept. needs. ACTIVE CASUAL HOURS AS NEEDED. POSITIONS MAY BE FILLED IMMEDIATELY.
