Job Title: TIG Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be using TIG or heliarc techniques to weld thin stainless steel. You will be producing custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry.
Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on thin stainless steel using heliarc techniques.
Produce custom, short-run prototype equipment for the food industry.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
Conduct intricate welding processes, both by hand and machine, to develop complex fabrications.
Use a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments.
Operate welding equipment and adjust machine settings for various welding processes.
Perform fixturing and set-up as required.
Essential Skills
Welding experience.
Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.
Strong math skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW in Horizontal, Vertical, and All Positions.
Ability to work on intricate welding processes to develop complex fabrications.
Experience using various hand tools, measuring instruments, and welding equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with food-grade welding.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Ability to perform fixturing and set-up as required.
