Job Description: Riverway Clinic is actively recruiting for patient focused Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join their Clinician team. This is a full-time position working primarily in our Urgent Cares with ability for conducting virtual patient appointments. This position may include some evenings and weekends. Riverway Clinics are located in the north metro suburbs offering a small town atmosphere within a short drive of the Twin Cities and are part of the HealthPartners Family of care. We are focused on health as it could be, affordability as it must be, and relationships built on trust. Accountabilities: Distinguish between situations requiring independent management, collaborative management with the Physician and immediate or further referral. Collaborate with Physician when unusual incidents or changes in patient's condition occur. Coordinate care involving other healthcare providers, outside vendors or employers to meet the needs of the patient. Make appropriate referrals. Required Professional Qualifications Include: Graduate of an accredited formal PA or APRN program. Master's required. Current Minnesota PA or RN license. Current NCCPA or AANP certification. Approved or eligible for approval by the MN Board of Medical Practice for prescription writing privileges. The PA or APRN works with the clinician team to provide for the overall and ongoing medical responsibility for a patient's comprehensive care. This provider will work autonomously within their licensure in accordance with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and/or Minnesota Board of Nursing. We use the Epic (EMR) system in all of our clinics. We require all colleagues to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (and influenza) unless there is a HealthPartners-approved medical or religious exemption.
