AZCO Project Management Intern - AZCO (Field Opportunities) in Appleton, Wisconsin

Description

The Construction Intern will support the Construction Coordinators and Project Management team to execute construction management and program management ventures for a specific project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Adhere to the company's safety programs and policies and assist others with compliance.

  • Assist in the planning and coordinating of on-site functions including, but not limited to, the following: scheduling, engineering, material control, procurement, safety and provide day to day support to project foremen and superintendents.

  • Maintain all records including jobsite master schedule, document control log, change order log, time keeping, and field project files.

  • Initiate the purchase order process and rent and manage equipment procurement. Assist coordinators to ensure adequate inventory for project.

  • Assist the Project team in building relationships with client, craft, and other subcontractors.

  • Assist the Project team with craft training and jobsite activities as needed.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Actively pursuing a Bachelor

Other Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Construction background preferred.

  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.

  • Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.

  • Must be available to travel to an undetermined project location for the duration of internship.
