TPi Arcade LLC Robotics Engineer in Arcade, New York

TITLE:Robotics EngineerREPORTS TO:Plant ManagerSTATUS:Exempt Full-TimeAPPROVED:June 27, 2024Pay Range:$60,000- $70,000 per yearSUMMARYThe Robotics Engineer will apply their knowledge and experience in robotics to the development of our robotics system. Responsible for researching, designing, building, and maintaining robotics systems and applications.BEHAVIOR REQUIREMENTSAll positions within TPi Arcade require employees to demonstrate excellence through TPi’s core values of Reliability, Safety, Integrity and Respect. Additionally, employee’s behaviors must align with Ligon’s Business Ethics Policy, and strive to attain our Perfect Day Philosophy.PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES•Create and oversee all robotics improvement projects. •Provide hands-on and technical support to the maintenance and production staff in relation to robotics. •All aspects of robotic project management. •Observe and incorporate safety standards and regulations required for safe operation of the system.•Performs other related responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Plant Manager.PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEExperience in robotics engineering, robotic system configuration and programming, with related work or experience in one or more of the following:•Experience in mechanical design - structural, pneumatic, hydraulic. •Experience with electrical components (servos, drives, PLC’s, controls, HMI, etc.) for use in automation and troubleshooting•Experience with industrial robotics, preferably ABB.•Experience in robotic programming, preferably RAPID.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTDegree in Robotics, Mechanical or Industrial EngineeringREQUIRED SKILLSMust be proficient in MS Office specifically Excel.Strong background in CAD, Inventor Modeling, with ability to read and interpret drawings.Must have excellent interpersonal skills to work with others and be able to work independently. Must be able to multitask and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.Maintenance background and experience a plus. Ability to turn concept into detail for fabrication. Familiarity with aluminum castings concepts, practices and procedures a plus.PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENTPhysical DemandsThis position requires extended periods of working in the foundry as maintenance operation and support. Sitting and viewing computer monitor, as well as lifting pushing and pulling of material as necessary. Working ConditionsThe employee will be exposed to an environment where hearing, eye safety and safety shoes are required.

Minimum Salary: 60,000 Maximum Salary: 70,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
