About the Role: Responsible for operations within the Distribution/Warehouse, Final Packaging, shipping and receiving, Procurement and Planning areas. Responsibilities include directing, developing and implementing systems that produce the highest quality customer service in the most cost effective manner. Acts as a liaison between manufacturing, marketing, order processing to provide exceptional service to customers. This role directs activities of buyers and planners and develops policies and procedures for operation of procurement activities. Coordinates purchasing activities with the manufacturing groups in order to maintain inventories at planned levels. Additionally, this role provides leadership and guidance for the supplier quality engineering group, and ensures the appropriate vendors are identified to supply high quality product. Ensures systems are in place to monitor and track department and supplier performance. Your Responsibilities will Include: Recruits, coaches and develops organizational talent. Makes decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives. Develops, monitors and appropriately adjusts the annual budget for department(s). Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree: preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field-experience in the supply chain field or medical device industry may be considered in lieu of degree Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization as well as with external vendors Experience working in Microsoft Suite Experience with SAP/Rapid Response (or comparable ERP) system Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the medical device industry Experience in purchasing, supply chain, inventory management or planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment Understanding of FDA, BSI, and other relevant regulatory requirements for manufacturing and distribution Ability to use advanced data analysis tools and techniques to monitor and improve departmental and supplier performance.
