Job Description Summary
This position will report to the Environmental, Health & Safety Leader and act as a support function to the Safety and Environmental Specialists on site.

Safety
Contractor Safety
Coordinate contractor pre-visit requirements are met with Facilities Leader
Ensure Complyworks approvals are complete.
Ensure pre-visit requirement checklists are completed by Facilities Leader before contractor is allowed onsite.
Conduct Periodic Inspections of projects onsite
Maintain contractor training records.
Communications
Recording and organizing minutes from Safety team meetings
Distribution of policy updates and revisions.
Document Management Systems (DMS)
Ensuring policy revisions are posted to the EHS Support Central Website.
Uploading rosters and Safety Team meeting minutes into EHS Support Central Website.
Coordinating 3rd party EHS employee training with Contractors & Vendors.
Environmental
Waste Management:
Receipt and tracking of hazardous waste manifests through Safety Kleen online
File and notify Environmental specialist of manifests coming due/overdue
Assist with Hazardous Waste Satellite accumulation area inspections
Leverage technology (iPad) for immediate entry into Gensuite
Training Management
Organization of EH&S training records
Scheduling of required training requirements for Hourly & Salary
SSS processing of purchase requisitions and invoice receipts for environmental fees.
Health
Communications
Maintaining area Blackboards (Information center for EHS & Health Svcs. comms)
Employee Engagement
Recording and organizing meeting minutes for EHS Teams (First Responder Meetings)
SSS processing of Health Services purchase requisitions and invoice receival
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma and 1 - 2 years of general industry EH&S related experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
