Job Title: Direct Purchasing Agent

Job Description

As a Direct Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for sourcing the required materials based on the Bill Of Material (BOM) for battery cell and modules from designated suppliers both in the US and globally. You will develop annual and mid-long term demand plans, aligned with the marketing plan, and manage global SCM management. This includes conducting sourcing plans that encompass materials’ inventory, quantities, and delivery dates in conjunction with the factory plan. You will monitor suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries, materials within quality standard specifications, manage costs, and swiftly reconcile any discrepant materials. Additionally, you will define and monitor 4M changes, manage the development schedule and procurement, and ensure continuity business plans are in place to manage supplier risk. You will also manage and report on procurement performance, status of savings, and implementation plans, as well as manage procurement risk related to costs, deliveries, and inventory issues. Your responsibilities will include preparing, distributing, reviewing, and assessing RFQ/RFP to and from qualified suppliers, finalizing contracts, registering suppliers on the purchasing system, issuing POs, verifying invoices, and performing Monthly closing Management. You will support the optimization of core Purchasing processes and systems and ensure all vendors comply with our Ethical Sourcing policies.
