Insight Global Quality Engineer in Arlington, Tennessee

Job Description

A Client/Employer in Stanton, TN is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineers. These engineers must be flexible to significant travel during initial plant start-up phase, and ability to support any shift in a 7-day work week. Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and monitor environment of quality evaluation through 3R and 5S

  • Review gate safety and reliability assessments in advance

  • Respond to requirement of marketing and cell development; RFQ assessment (request for qualifications)

  • Analyze test conditions, conduct tests and report test results

  • Review and approve results of safety, performance, and reliability tests in the process of gate evaluation.

  • Conduct regular test of shipment safety and mass production reliability test

  • Manage assets and maintain instruments

  • Plan and implement monthly calibration

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Material, Electrical, Electronic or Industrial Engineering or a related field

  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering

  • Strong knowledge of 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle)

  • Strong knowledge of 5s (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain)

  • Experience working in an Automotive or Manufacturing industry

  • Experience working on a start-up plant

  • QMS implementations/experience with production validation process preferred

  • 3 years of experience developing and managing quality systems

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Must be able to analyze and resolve issues quickly through route cause analysis and drive change back to the production departments. null
