Texas Health Resources Registered Nurse, RN - Cardiac Cath Lab in Arlington, Texas

Cardiac Cath Lab RN - Full Time- Days -Texas Health Heart and Vascular Hospital

  • Work location: Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital 811 Wright Street, Arlington, TX

  • Work hours: Full-time, Days, 40 hours weekly

  • We have 4 Cath Labs, 3 of which are EP capable

Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital is an independently licensed hospital located on the campus of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital. We are a 47-bed facility including a 20 bed Cardiovascular ICU and a 27-bed cardiac telemetry unit.

Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital is accredited for Chest Pain through The Joint Commission. We have achieved AHA’s Gold Plus award for three years in a row plus AHA’s Gold Plus award for Heart Failure.

We specialize in CABG and Valve surgeries, thoracotomies, general cardiac including heart failure, cardiomyopathies, AMI, TAVR, Impella, and heart catheterizations including angioplasty, stenting, and electrophysiology studies. We operate in a team-based environment with a cardiac focus. We boast excellent patient and staff satisfaction results have an amazing collaborative culture within all departments.

What You’ll Need

  • Nursing Diploma, Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required. BSN is preferred. (CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency is required.)

  • One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required.

  • One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse in the Cath Lab is strongly preferred.

  • RN - Registered Nurse is required upon hire.

  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required.

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required within 90 days of hire
