Sr. Decision Support Analyst- Labor Productivity

Work location: Hybrid Opportunity- In office meetings twice a month at 612 East Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with some flexibility

Here’s What You Need

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, or other business related is required

Experience

  • 3 Years Finance healthcare experience is required and

  • 1 Year Decision support/Benchmarking experience is preferred

  • 1 year of SQL experience is strongly preferred

  • 1 year of labor productivity is strongly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • SSLP - Six Sigma Lean Professional Upon Hire is preferred Or

  • Other Clinical Certification Upon Hire is preferred

What You Will Do

  • FINANCIAL ANALYSIS:- Perform data modeling and data analysis using statistical techniques.- Analyze variances reported in order to identify the causes and implications of said variances.- Participate in benchmarking efforts that will be used to measure and set goals for improving performance.- Responsibilities may include:- Quarterly data submission and validation- Department Characteristic and Normalization survey upkeep- Data analysis trending and reporting- Prepare and deliver decision support reports to both internal and external customers. - Perform ad hoc analysis.

  • DATA MANAGEMENT/COMPUTER PROFICIENCY: - Establish data accuracy and validity derived from a variety of systems including EPSi Labor Productivity, Vizient ODB, and Premier InflowHealth physician enterprise benchmarking & analytics. - Work with ITS and other personnel to ensure proper utilization of data. - Interface with end-users of the decision support and labor benchmarking systems to determine requirements for data, reports, and analysis.

  • COMMUNICATION/TRAINING: - Develop and lead training programs for new and current users of EPSi labor productivity, Vizient ODB benchmarking, and Premier InflowHealth physician enterprise & analytics.- Be able to teach/explain labor productivity and operational/physician benchmarking processes to department managers within the organization and support end users in leveraging the data for continuous improvement.
